Each blade is oil tempered to a hardness of 58-60 HRC and sharpened precisely at a 20-degree angle for exceptional cutting performance. Our Damascus steel is authentic, crafted from a blend of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon steels, layered 384 times through a meticulous folding and forging process. The blades are acid-etched to reveal the beautiful contrasting patterns, with the nickel layers shining a satin color and the high carbon layers turning a blackish-gray. After forging, the blades are high-polished, enhancing both the blade and handle’s finish. The unique hammered texture adds character, making each knife a true piece of functional art. All knives are 100% handmade, with no CNC machining, ensuring each piece has distinct handmade qualities.
